Sienna is a six-year-old girl who was recently diagnosed with having a cancerous brain tumor. The last few years have been full of ups and downs including multiple surgeries and many rounds of chemotherapy. Sienna is currently stable though she is continuing physical and occupational therapy to reverse some of the effects of the tumor. Sienna is shy, sensitive and silly. Her favorite color is orange and favorite food is macaroni & cheese. She spends most of her time outside playing in sandboxes, riding her bike, swimming and camping with her family.
Sienna’s wish granters met with her to discuss what she would want if she could have anything in the world. Sienna decided that she wanted her very own camper because she loves spending time with her parents and siblings in the great outdoors on their special family trips. Sienna wanted to be able to extend her wish experience and enjoy using her wish gift again and again.
Sienna’s Make-A-Wish volunteers planned an unforgettable wish day celebration for her and her extended family. Sienna was surrounded by loved ones while she enjoyed cake, gifts and the unveiling of her brand new camper. Sienna was presented with a beautiful Surveyor Travel Trailer which includes tons of great features including a shower, bathroom, closet, two beds, kitchen and even an entertainment center!
Sienna’s parents said the highlight of their wish experience was seeing “the joy on Sienna’s face when she saw her camper for the first time.” The camper is guaranteed to be an unending source of fun and relaxation for Sienna, allowing her to focus on the joys of being a child. Shortly after the big reveal, Sienna’s parents told us that “the kids have been in the camper non-stop since the big reveal. They eat in there, do their homework in there and just hang out listening to the radio.” We are confident that Sienna’s wish will bring her the hope, strength and joy that she needs for many years to come thanks to your incredible support! Thank you for helping to make her life-affirming wish come true!
